How It All Started

So there we were, sittin on the porch, and Granny comes up to the family wanting some t-shirts that the grandkids could wear around the house without her having to wash their mouths out with soap. She wanted shirts with some sass but nothing that'd get them in trouble at church or school.

That's when I said, "Fish yeah, let’s make some shirts!"

Granny loved it. Turns out "fish" works pretty dang well for just about any situation where you need to get your point across but keep things family-friendly. The kids could wear them anywhere, and everybody was happy.

Then we figured out we weren't the only family dealing with this exact problem. And so, Fishin Awesome was born. We believe your clothes should let you tell people what you fishin think without getting you in trouble for it.

Our Certified Granny Test

Every single design we make has to get past Granny first. If she laughs and gives it the thumbs up, it makes it onto a shirt. If she gives us that look over her glasses, well, we take it back to the workshop with that odd feeling of shame. Nothing makes it past Granny without her approval.
